public speaking

I enjoy speaking at digital marketing events and conferences. Sharing my knowledge and learning from others is one of the best uses for my time.  This page is a listing of most of the events I have presented at since 2005 along with brief descriptions of the sessions.

Things slowed down for me in this area since I joined Red Bull at the end of 2008. Red Bull is famously private about our marketing strategies. Go ahead, Google (or Bing) "Red Bull marketing" and see what you come up with. You will very rarely find anyone from Red Bull speaking about how we win in the marketplace. I must decline most invites I get. That said....please keep the invites coming. Occasionally, the right match comes along and I can contribute.

2010 events
Seesmic Look launch event
January 21, 2010 - New York, NY
I was one of three launch partners who participated in the launch event for Seesmic Look in early 2010. I didn't give a formal presentation. Instead, I just described Red Bull's channel within Seesmic Look, shared our high level goals, and provided a brief tour through the Red Bull channel.

2009 events
I didn't have any speaking engagements in 2009. I love my job at Red Bull but, because of our policies, I decline most invites. I spent all of 2009 soaking up the brand and learning about Red Bull's unique and effective marketing strategies.
